Cleaning for a Reason
West Fargo, North Dakota – December 9, 2016 – Heather's Housekeeping is a cleaning company since 2002 that has teamed up with Cleaning For A Reason, an international nonprofit serving women with cancer. The company is dedicated to helping make family life easier and focuses on giving great quality services at reasonable rates. Heather's Housekeeping specializes in residential and commercial cleaning, as well as move-in/out and new construction. The business kept growing by word of mouth and now has a staff of 18 and over 200 regular accounts. Heather's Housekeeping is always accepting new accounts as well as one-time and special occasion cleanings.
“Heather’s Housekeeping looks forward to helping local families and giving back to our community,” stated owner Heather Nelson. “We all know someone who is or has been affected by cancer and have seen how hard life can become for the individual and their families. Heather's Housekeeping wants to give these women a little peace knowing their home is being cleaned. Fighting cancer is hard enough. We are honored to be a part of this organization that allows the patients to focus on their health and not on cleaning their homes.”
Heather's Housekeeping has agreed to help women battling cancer by cleaning two homes per month for four consecutive months at no charge. The only requirement is that the homes be within the company’s existing service areas of Fargo and Moorhead. For more information about this company, go to their Facebook page.
In partnership with maid services throughout the United States and Canada, Cleaning For A Reason is celebrating 10 years of dedicated service to women battling cancer by Making A Difference One Home At A Time™. Together, these two forces offer free house cleaning to meet the needs of women, and since 2006, have donated more than $6 million in free services, helping more than 23,000 women with cancer. Based in Lewisville, TX, Cleaning For A Reason works with more than 1,200 professional cleaning companies and continues to grow and gain support. For Luv of Dog Rescue

Christmas Gift
Christmas Gift is an organization making holiday dreams come true in the Fargo-Moorhead area. This group helps families in the area who have fallen on hard times and gives them gifts to make the holidays special in their time of need. Heather's Housekeeping is proud to contribute, and attends the Fashion Avenue event each November to support the organization and spread awareness for the cause.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is close to Heather's heart as her family is personally affected by the illness. Both her niece and nephew have the disease and donating to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation helps to fund research for treatments for the disease. Heather's Housekeeping annually attends Corks and Kegs to support the foundation and their studies.

YWCA Cass Clay
YWCA Cass Clay's mission is to provide shelter for women and children in need, resources to help them get back on their feet and rediscover their worth in our community. Heather's Housekeeping is proud to partner with YWCA Cass Clay by hosting drives and volunteering our time at the facility.
